The Stevens TechniqueThe Stevens TechniqueA radical and organic practice, for actors and people, to help heal and find personal freedom and creativity. Used for actors as an acting technique and people for wellbeing fitness, The Stevens Technique, created by Robbi Stevens, has grown, and evolved since 2006. Inspired from many other practices as well as birthed originally from trying, failing and then succeeding in Robbi’s rehearsals, workshops and sessions, The Stevens Technique is truly a hybrid mix.

Daily PracticesDAILY PRACTICESComprised of five-minute animalistic exercises and thirty-minute realization practices, the daily practices aim to work out the body, mind and spirit. Cleaning out the blockages of stored emotion, quietening the chatter in the mind and refocusing your purpose and energy, these little gems are your daily wellbeing workouts. We work out for our fitness, so why not workout for our wellbeing?

Your MapYOUR MAPBe your own emotional, psychological, and physiological detective! By mapping out your behaviours and subconscious patterns and learning how to challenge the debilitating habits and celebrate the positive, your map creates awareness. It asks you to journal your levels of consciousness, relationships, sense of clarity and purpose as well as explaining the different meanings behind words like trauma, shadows, animals, energy essence, listening, emotions, contradictions and more. World class athletes spend as much time knowing themselves as they do on physical training. ‘Your map’ is about giving yourself choices, understanding your habits, and creating chances to evolve into your best self. It is also a deep psychological, physical, and emotional study for actors to use for any role.

Your Authentic SelfYOUR AUTHENTIC SELFYour Authentic Self is like coming home. Like the Daily Practices, these exercises are aimed at resonating and lifting you into your best self, but from a different perspective. After doing the earlier Stevens Technique work and developing a deeper understanding of how to stay energised in your higher levels of consciousness, these exercises are like shorthand. They are designed to recalibrate your energy and authenticity, before moving onto the next thing in your day. To check in with yourself. In order to stay authentic, you need to top up on your wellbeing petrol throughout the day.
